Hey surfers!! Another post yet again! I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving this Thursday had a

wonderful time and honored something their grateful for! I recently posted an essay, one of many more to

come, to the Academics page! Other than that I haven't really done all that

much otherwise regarding the site, other than adding to the list of things to download. Finals week is

only one week away and I want to try and finish strong, and score well on all my exams. I recently finished

my group project assignment, where we were instructed to gather into groups of 3/4 and analyse and present

short summaries on a given science fiction novel. My group was assigned Solaris by Stainslaw Lem. I normally

don't read sci-fi, so at first I was skeptical, but by the end, I was satisfied with it's upbeat pacing,

exciting storyline, and thought-provoking character dynamics. I still have to compose a final essay on the

matter, of which I will certainly post when completed!

Hello web surfers, I feel like a baby who's just gained conciousness. I finally figured out how to add

a hover effect in css! (took me long enough) I know it looks like nothing on this site ever changes, but

I swear I try to add at least a few new graphics to my stash, because at the end of the day this is my side

hobby. Another slice of my free time has also been taken up by slowly making the switch from windows to linux!

I'm so sick of windows and their data farming, and pretty much the only thing thats tying me to windows is

fortnite, which I don't think can run on linux due to anti-cheat or smth. I currently have two computers, my

big gaming pc from 2019 and my laptop I recently was gifted for college. While I've been avoiding windows 11

like the plague for years, after the biggest e-waste announcement in history of windows 10 being no longer

supported after October 2025, along with Windows 11 being pre-installed on my laptop, I didn't really have a

choice in the matter. What I've experienced is nothing short of useless AI bloatware and a built in co-pilot

on my laptop keyboard which I often mistakenly hit. I as well have had some quams with Microsoft's greedy

buisness practices, and believe that you shouldn't need to pay for any operating system. I've been checking

out linux mint and fedora, which I've had good experiences with. Currently I'm just being picky and choosy

over which flavor of OS I want on a usb I purchased recently, since I'm a broke college student and my wallet

did embarrasingly receive quite a dent. I want to make sure I make the right decision so I dont need to buy

another one.

The point I'm trying to make is that even though I've been

busy with life, I'm still slowly progressing with my site nonetheless. Recently I've been completing a

few different essays for different classes, along with workshopping on one I want to post on here! I

want to make sure my presentation of my argument makes the most sense before releasing it, since the

topic is something I feel very passionate about. In other news, World Philosophy Day was this past

Thursday!! I find philosophy so interesting, as it is the foundation for so many different branches of

thought and practice. At the end of this semester I will have completed 3 different philosophy classes,

and I'm heavily considering declaring a minor in the field. My uni's philosophy department has recently

become too small and has merged with the history department, which in my opinion is such a shame. This

new era is enabling people to cast aside critical thinking for nihilistic ignorance, being held up by

chat gpt. The amount of people I've seen in class, even during exams, using chat gpt is ridiculous. They

simply rely on chat gpt for everything, and frankly it's disapointing and frustrating as someone who's at

school to actually utilize their brain. Our brains are being melted by machine-learning systems spitting out

information that has been farmed from humans anyway! Rather than submitting to Peter Theil, Sam Altman and

the machines apparently "smarter than any human", actually think for yourself. Participate to local elections,

stay informed, if Trump doesn't want to federally regulate AI to not upset his butt buddies, we must take things

into our own hands.

Crazy rant I know, recently I've been down this crazy rabbit hole of some weird NYC rapper cyber-core

accellerationist cult(lmfao that classification), who's raves have been funded by one of Peter Theil's companies.

Apparently 2hollis has alot of ties to this thing, way more than what I can properly articulate. Theres a great

blog post I read that really dives into things, I'll link it here!

Anyways this is definetly one of my longer entries, so I guess I'll end things here. I'll do another bog post soon,

maybe, but I'll always be working on the site bit by bit anyway.

Hello my beloved site, I'm back once again, this time to geek out over pokemon go! I am an avid player

and recently been sleeping on the different pokemon in raid prior to this weekend event. This past week

theres been different legendary pokemon in raids each day, with the weekend event having mighty pokemon,

aka high IV pokemon in the wild, along with rotating spotlight hours for dark and fairy-type pokemon! I

loved the event and got a ton of beefy pokemon to call me own, including an adorable bewear, which 1) has

a special background, 2) has the cutest little scarf, and 3) alleviates the chore of gathering 400 snuffle

candies in order to evolve to get one. I will say that it is kinda frustrating catching upgrades to pokemon

I've raised since their first evolution and powered up to no evail.

Another day another blog post! This weekend I'm home from univeristy for the weekend to celebrate my

PopPop's birthday!! As I'm sitting in my room now, as someone who only comes home every so often,

I can't help but think about the evolution of my room decor from over the years. I was so dedicated

to the aesthetic, i would contantly take pictures, and began posting them on pinterest, so thankfully

I have some-sort of a time capsule of the different eras.

Another thing I love being able to come home to, other than the vibe, is my keyboard!

When I was little my mother put me in piano classes, where I stayed until the 4th grade, when

she finally let me quit. While I enjoyed the piano itself and knowing how to play & read sheet music, my

child-self just didn't see an interest in piano, as it often felt like a chore, something I had to do

rather than something I wanted to do. I still participated in other musical activites in school and out

of school, such as choir and cantoring at mass, as well as the ukulele starting at age 10. When highschool

hit I completely changed geares. I ditched the traditional music and developed an obsession with the

guitar!! I ended up being able to borrow my uncles electric guitar and amp, and eventually being gifted

a black Fender stratocaster squire for my highschool graduation! I was over the moon, and spent all my time

learning my favorite songs. As I started at univeristy though, it became difficult to play with headphones

plugged into my amp, along with the fact that if you're not 100% dedicated to learning the guitar and

practicing all the time. My roomate ended up bringing her acoustic guitar, which I ended up liking way

better! I eventually bought my acoustic guitar, which is back in my dorm. Speaking of campus, there just

so happens to be a grand piano in the lobby of our student center. I like to go over and play a few church

songs I still know, and every weekend I come home and try to learn another one!

Greetings! 'Tis I, the webmaster! I buckled down and replenished my buttons, blinkies and stamp stock,

which took a while tbh, but I had fun nonetheless! I also went through and organized the blinkies and

stamps in the same way my buttons were, and while I don't necessarily mind the basic light-green/dark

-green combo, I want to eventually find a good background image to use site-wide! Im debating on a

backsplash of either a hoard of different cables, or perhaps a grass background, although most of the

stock grass images I've sifted through haven't exactly lived up to my standards. Either there's too

much contrast and depth than what I'm looking for, or it has some vignette effect. I also at some point

want to find a worthy envelope image that I can fix my stamp list to, I thought that would be so cute!

//

Update: After typing that out I decided to stop being lazy and just start doing what I wanted to do.

Anyways, I managed to find a grass image that was sufficient, along with removing all my individual

CSS from each html doc and finally put it in the style folder. Don't ask me why it took this long.

One of the two swans that reside in our pond on campus

Hello once again, I've recently been incredibly busy with different exams and papers, and it looks like

things will start to let up this weekend, since I still have two more essays to go. In my intro to writing

course, my professor assigned our final essay to be an informative and argumentative essay relating to the

New York Times article Megan Thee Stallion - Why I Speak Up For Black Women, in which Megan Thee

Stallion discusses the different ways black women are treated less, even mentioning her own experience

of being shot twice by signer Tory Lanez. I'm excited to see what type of essay I can cook up, since the

due sate is this Friday at 11:59pm, and I haven't exactly started yet. I personally love me some Megan,

I have a good amount of her songs on my playlist, I respect her dedication to education and to speaking out

against gender and racial discrimination, and I've found almost any piece of media involving her to be quite

enjoyable! I suppose that's it for now, hopefully once I'm done with my essay I can post it on here somewhere

Here's the article incase anyone wants to read it, as well as a free version, I highly recommend you do so!

Update: Thankfully I have my schedule mixed up and the NY times paper is due in a month, not on Friday thank God.

I also caught a shiny Entei today at my local pokemon go meetup today!! I love the way this shiny looks, I haven't

seen this shiny before!

Heyyy everyone, I hope everyone has a terrific halloween, this year I decided to stay in w my bestie and

watched our fav shows, so therefore i didn't really dress up as anything. A huge part of me that didn't

care abt the health of my college student ah wallet wanted to be nyan cat, but after tara yummy decided

to use that idea, I think I'll pass. I've always held mixed feelings towards Tara, I fuck w the fact that

she is a dj and all, and i like her style I suppose, my problem more-so lies in her weird relationship w

her ex Jake Webber. I know I know this whole debate is so parasocial and at the end of the day these people

can do whatever they want, but I just CANNOT act like the way those two flirt constantly doesn't leave a bad

taste in my mouth. Maybe I'm just a hater, but if I were Kenzie, Jake's current girfriend, and I saw them

act the way they do, I would either throw hands or run for the hills.

Hello all! Okay I know my site looks even more horrendous then previously, but I swear I have a vision.

As much as I like having my computer shit its pants everytime i open the homepage, I've decided it's best

if I start pages dedicated to each. This is definetly going to enable me to collect and stockpile more

graphics than previously, since up to this point I have been picky in my selections, but now, everything

is fair game. Also once I learn CSS shit is gonna start cooking, swear. Anyways, I've been fiddling around

with this site for the past couple of hours in an effort to procrastinate my exam due tonight, and I think

it might be in my best interest to end thigns here and go and complete that, so yeah. I promise my skills

will improve... eventually. For now UGLY HOMEPAGE and thats FINAL.

UPDATE: i got a 70% fml.

Hellooo! Welcome to the first blog post of yours truly! I don't really know exactly what to talk about,

so i guess I'll start with what this site is, how I got here, and where I plan to go from here! This

site is meant to be a little archive for my art, papers, but mostly buttons, blinkies, stamps and other

graphics!! I started learning html in 2019 whilst trying to customize a myspace reboot profile, but since

I never fully sat down and learned, I'm only really starting to pick it up again now in 2025. Now I'm at

university, and consider this to be the time to teach myself something new in my spare time! I'm not

really sure what my plan is other than have this website be a personal media dumping ground, but it will

hopefully at least get more aesthetic!?

I'm praying I keep up the discipline of writing little semi-daily paragraphs, Bye!!
